Leading this elite group is Coshocton county with a total of 9564 deer harvested. Coshocton county led in the category of deer taken by gun, while Tuscarawras, Guernsey, Muskingum and Harrison rounded out the gun favorites.
Second place in total deer harvested belongs to Tuscarawas county with 8814. Tuscawrawas led the youth category and came in second in the gun and muzzleloader categories.
In third place is Licking county with a total number of deer harvested placed at 7967. Licking county led with archery numbers. Archers hunting with regular bows and crossbows accounted for 3254 of the deer taken. Coshocton, Tuscarawas, Knox and Holmes counties were also favored by archers.
